Bring It On Gracie!
12 days till we are back in NY

Today I took Gracie over to the theatre to watch her Daddy in action and the cast rehearse.

Whenever we ask Gracie what does daddy do at work, she says piano.
And when you ask her where does daddy work, she says right down there.

Not sure what she liked more, watching the show or running up and down the aisles.

Gracie quotes while at the theatre:
 "COURTNEY UP HIGH!!!!"
"YEAH SONG!"
"DO IT AGAIN"
"AMANDA SING SONG!"
and of course lot's of clapping.

On a side note...
We'd like to wish G-RON a happy happy birthday! Love and Miss You!!!!

Date Night

I can't even begin to count the number of times cast members
have offered to babysit Gracie and we finally took a few of them up on it.

This is Courtney~

Gracie's new best friend and babysitter. From day one Gracie and Courtney bonded. Gracie talks about her during the day and looks forward to bumping into her in the halls or at the theatre. Courtney is one of the sweetest and kindest girls I have ever met and there was no question that Gracie would have a blast with her while we went to dinner.

David & I at
RA Sushi

Not only was the company great, but so was the food. DELICIOUS! We then went over to a little Irish pub, RI RA, for dessert and coffee. (Who would have thought that an Irish pub would have awesome desserts???)

After our date, we headed home and found Gracie laughing her little butt off with Courtney and another cast member Kelly. They were sitting at the kitchen table making hair bows!!!!

Thanks to Courtney I got to enjoy an awesome dinner (and dessert) with my fabulous husband and Gracie got to have some wonderful girly girl time!!!

Mommy's Morning Off
and 17 days till we're back in NY

http://www.amandalavergne.com/

This is Amanda LaVergne!
She plays Campbell in BIO and is my new friend.
She (kindly) asked me on a "date" for mani/pedis.
Of course I jumped at the opportunity for some adult conversation without interruption and some pampering. Another bonus is David's schedule has lightened up a bit, so he could have some long needed Gracie time!  It was an awesome morning of gabbing, nails, toes, and coffee! Thanks Amanda :)

Visitors
Part Two

We don't get to see Grandma and Grandpa as much as we wish we could. They live in Ohio (or at the airport as Gracie will some day assume). So when we get together it's always a fun time for everyone.

As I mentioned before, Gracie wasn't feeling well during the beginning of my parents visit....but things picked up toward then end and we finally got to go out and about.

We took them to our favorite playground at Piedmont Park.

We also took a trip to
 COP logo

and saw the fountain of rings,

 the ice-skating rink,

and the playground.

We took Grandma and Grandpa to Atlantic Station for a Target and Publix trip.

And spent some fun time in the hotel and at the hotel socials.

And now the count down beings until we see Grandma and Grandpa again....

Happy February 1st
And the countdown begins~
20 days until we are back in NY

It's been a rough week...Gracie started out with a fever and runny nose on Monday. We chalked it up to a little cold or teething, however, her fever got quite high on Tuesday evening.  So after a conversation with our pediatrician, we headed off to the local walk-in clinic on Wednesday morning. (RON: The walk-in clinic was across from Fogo De Chao. I'm not kidding about this...I laughed so hard it!!!!) Anyway, it turns out that Gracie had roseola; a high fever, rash, extremely irritable, swollen eyelids, tired and a decreased appetite. To put it bluntly, it sucked!!! However, she is finally back to herself today....and I am so happy about that!

Especially, because my parents are in town visiting.

more on that later....
